Haley Childrose, LMSW

Licensed Therapist

Haley is a New York State Licensed Master Social Worker experienced with providing psychotherapeutic support in public education and residential treatment settings. Her work began seven years ago as an AmeriCorps service member. It was through public service that Haley learned of the power of compassion to alleviate individual and community suffering and to strengthen connection to oneself and the outer world. She believes that compassion is a force that combats social stigma, biases, and shame and provides space for us to understand and overcome emotional difficulties inherent to the human experience.

Haley’s work relies on an authentic therapeutic connection through which the relationship between the mind, body, and spirit is explored to help people navigate intra- and interpersonal conflict, relationships, stress, life transitions, grief, and trauma. The core of her practice is to guide people inside themselves to uncover their inner truths with curiosity and radical compassion. Haley strives to create a depathologizing space that is accessible to all by inviting individuals to tell their story through their own words.

Haley is deeply passionate about the transformative power of body-oriented healing methods. If desired, she is ready to explore yoga, meditation, and breathwork with those looking to regain control over bodily sensations, thoughts, and emotions.
